Our turning department includes everything from Swiss Style turning centers (Swiss lathes) to conventional CNC Turning centers in a variety of sizes, as well as highly sophisticated twin spindle, twin turret, 7-axis CNC Turning centers with live tooling. We can handle parts with extremely small diameters up to 18" or larger diameters.
As mentioned elsewhere on the site, all of our machines are purchased new from industry leaders. That practice insures that we are using the most advanced technology available. To the extent possible, we buy multiple identical machines to give us a great deal of machine redundancy. We consider redundancy and over-lap of capabilities to be important safeguards against delivery problems. Because of these practices CNC Industries has an excellent on-time delivery record.

The Daewoo Puma 150G is what is known as a "gang" style lathe. It has a single slide upon which the cutting tools are "ganged" up. The advantage of a gang style lathe is that there is no time wasted by indexing a turret.
This machine is very fast and precise and is ideal for smaller, production type parts. It is a nice bridge between conventional "turret" style lathes and "swiss" style lathes.

The SL-10 includes a 6.5" hydraulic chuck and a 12-position tool turret. A 15-hp vector drive spindle provides speeds to 6,000 rpm for high surface feedrates. The spindle accepts bar stock up to 1.75" diameter.
